Awareness, Acceptance & Action: Action

What I heard…

Leap and the net will appear.

Name it, claim it and move on!

Awareness, Acceptance and Action

Part Three: Action

Sometimes even taking the smallest action toward your goals is enough to get the ball rolling. Even if it doesn’t go well, you can learn so much from these moments.  What didn’t work?  What would you do differently next time?  Is there anything you can do now to effect this situation. DON’T beat yourself up!! If you start getting into a negative, judgmental head-space and find yourself going down the rat hole of perfection, procrastination, paralysis — STOP. I have Shame Buster friends. Friends I can call and tell them what's happening and get a reality check, compassion and especially humor!  Anything to stop that downward spiral.  And THAT is doing things differently.  Meeting my “failures” with compassion and kindness rather than shame and blame has completely changed who I am.

E + R = O       The Event + Your Response = the Outcome

So no matter what happens, remember it is your response to what occurs that will create the outcome.

Take action today toward your goals today, big or small. At the end of the day either write (highly recommend) or list in your mind, before sleeping, 3 things you did well today. Remembering, what you did well might not be the event but how positively you responded to it.  Have fun!!

Love and Blessings,

Pamela

Awareness, Acceptance and Action: Acceptance

 Awareness, Acceptance and Action: Acceptance

You worried for a reason, so accept it.  At one time in your life you believed it served you.  It could be from early childhood when part of the biological fight, flight or freeze mechanism got stuck because the natural cycle was not completed.  This can create some level of PTSD.  PTSD can create anxiety and worry.  A sense of always needing to be on the alert, vigilant, bracing for the next crisis.  So have compassion for that part of you that was doing the best it could.  I sincerely believe, if you could have done better, you would have!

What I Heard: What You Appreciate, Appreciates

What I Heard: What You Appreciate, Appreciates

What you appreciate, appreciates.

It’s about belonging, not belongings.

Wow!!  Right?!? I was making lunch this Sunday afternoon and I put on an episode of Super Soul Sunday (LOVE!!) and Oprah’s guest was Lynne Twist.  What an extraordinary woman!  What a soulful take on money and currency.
